Synopsis: Supernatural comedy-drama. In the pretty town of Eastwick, three friends (sculptor Alexandra, music teacher Jane and local newspaper journalist and single mother Sukie) wish they could find the perfect man. Soon, a mysterious stranger moves into a nearby mansion: the uninhibited and perhaps diabolical Daryl Van Horne, who is possessed of decidedly unusual powers. He sets about seducing the three women, who become the subject of local gossip and scorn. When a prominent local suffers a bizarre death which seems linked to Daryl, the friends realise things have gone too far and decide they want Daryl gone, but when they take drastic steps to do away with him, he proves hard to get rid of.
